The answer is yes!!

Most people who are placed on probation are not aware that they can motion to have their probation terminated early. Early termination usually requires the following:
1. Complete at least half of your probation term
2. Satisfaction of ALL probation terms, including payment of all court fines/fees, and restitution if this is part of your terms.
3. No other open cases

  1. I will be half done my probation in January. I am supposed to go the Marines and have been accepted but cannot officially join until I am off probation for a DUI I got in May 2010. My recruiter told me it was easy to get early termination and showed me to cases of other recruits that had only served 3 months probation and there’s was terminated early. When I went I was laughed out of court and was told that is unheard of in LA County Courts (the cases I was shown were both LA County Court) the Judge advised me that her termination my probation was juristic prohibited. I have paid all my fines and done everything that was court ordered.
